Answers to the questions we get most often about deposits, withdrawals and verification.
Deposits
How do I add money?
Open Deposit to see the bank details for your USD account. Send an ACH or wire transfer from a bank account in your own name. When the funds arrive they are converted to USDC and credited to your wallet.
How long does a deposit take?
ACH transfers typically settle in 1–3 business days. Wires sent before your bank's cut-off usually arrive the same business day. Conversion to USDC happens after the funds settle.
Can someone else send money to my account?
No. Deposits must come from a bank account held in your own name. Third-party deposits are returned to the sending bank.
ACH and wire transfers
Which should I use?
ACH is lower cost and suits routine transfers. Wires cost more and settle faster, which suits larger or time-sensitive amounts. Your deposit screen lists the rails your account supports.
What if I send the wrong amount?
The amount that arrives is the amount that is converted. There is no minimum to correct — contact support if you believe a transfer was sent in error.
Withdrawals
How do I withdraw to my bank?
Connect a bank account under Banks, then choose Withdraw → Bank Account. You will see the amount, destination and payment rail on a review screen before anything is submitted.
How do I withdraw USDC to my own wallet?
Choose Withdraw → Crypto Wallet, enter the destination address and pick the network. Check the network carefully: funds sent to an address on the wrong network cannot be recovered.
Crypto transfers
Which networks are supported?
This app issues a USDC wallet on Base by default. Withdrawals can be sent to Base, Ethereum, Polygon or Solana addresses.
Why does my transaction show a hash?
Once the payment is broadcast on-chain, the transaction hash appears on the transaction detail screen. You can use it to look the payment up on a block explorer.
Verification
Why do I need to verify my identity?
Financial regulations require us to verify every customer before they can hold a balance or move money. Verification is handled by our banking partner Bridge.
How long does verification take?
Most checks complete within a few minutes. Some are referred for manual review, which can take 1–2 business days. You will see the current status on your dashboard.
My verification was rejected. What now?
Contact support and we will explain what is needed. Some rejections can be resolved by supplying a clearer document or correcting a detail.
Bank account linking
What happens when I connect a bank?
Connecting a bank through Plaid confirms the account exists and belongs to you, so it can be used as a withdrawal destination. Connecting an account does not authorise us to pull money from it.
Can I remove a bank account?
Yes. Open Banks and remove the account. Any withdrawal already in flight to that account continues to completion.
Transaction delays
My transfer says 'Under review'.
Some transfers are held for a compliance check. This is routine and usually clears within one business day. You do not need to resubmit.
My transfer has been pending for days.
Contact support with the transaction reference from the transaction detail screen and we will trace it with our banking partner.
Returned payments
Why was my payment returned?
Banks return transfers for reasons such as a closed account, a name mismatch, or a rejected debit. Returned funds go back to the wallet or bank they came from.
Will I be charged for a return?
Any fee that applied to the original transfer is shown on the transaction detail screen. Returns are reflected there too.
